Yoga and mindfulness practices for teachers and their classrooms.

We provide a space for teachers to step away from their demanding roles and experience the restorative benefits of yoga and mindfulness.

We incorporate simple breath and movement practices that are supportive for physical & emotional wellbeing. Our practices are suitable for all abilities and can also be combined with one of our mindful art workshops.

Mindful Moments Resource for Teachers

We also support teachers to feel more confident sharing mindful moments with their students in the classroom.

Each attendee receives our Mindful Moments Toolkit for Teachers – sharing simple breath, movement and mindful creative practices that can be easily incorporated into the daily routine to support Social & Emotional Learning.

The activities in this resource require minimal equipment and can be incorporated into the class setting to support students to focus, build emotional awareness and build their toolkit to self-regulate.

We reccomend 1.5 hrs for a yoga and mindfulness teacher wellbeing session. Allow an extra 1-2 hrs if you would also like to include a mindful art workshop.

We can deliver chair yoga, mat yoga or a hybrid of the two. If you have a breathing body, you can practice yoga.

We support teachers to recognise and manage stress through mindfulness practices.

Mindfulness helps to manage stress and frustration. We hope that by sharing these tools with teachers, they feel more supported to teach and model emotional regulation for their students.

Mindfulness is about placing your attention on the present moment. By practicing mindfulness regularly, teachers can deliver lessons more effectively and feel more equipped to respond to student needs, teaching these same practices to their students for a more engaged classroom.
